I may order xrays of the different regions of the spine as necessary for evaluation of your complaint. We can also take xrays of the extemities including the major joints of the upper and lower extremities as needed.
If your condition requires, I can also order MRI studies or CAT scan studies to further evaluate serious conditions.
If prior imaging has been performed, I can request the films and reports so that additional imaging is not needed.
Bone scans can also be ordered to evaluate other problems.
We obtain insurance preauthorization before ordering any advanced imaging to confirm insurance coverage.
